So...what do you think? Please share some of the inspirations for the seeds that grow our work...be as specific as possible and let's try to compile a big list of 'inspiration triggers'...
- family - friends - mission trips - memories - pictures that you take - vacations - messages you hear (comments, chapels, …) - things you see (being in the artroom, in your room, or in your favorite spot, …)
inspiration comes to me from: Pedestrians on the way home books those random comments people make music people's expressions homework (in the sense that I draw reactions to that work. i.e. zombies on my stats homework) History stars sunrises sunsets bats dragonflies found objects dreams smells
probably they come from the whole concept of us taking it in, and then composing it in our own different way, so from our different points of view on different subjects and experiences in life.
in the bustle of cities (architecture melded with nature), in the people that walk to and fro with agendas and lives of their own. In the complexity of the world and the vastness of it all. I find inspiration in the simple too (it is the ordinary and everyday things that more often than not leap out at me)
ideas come from everywhere. they can come from nature, people watching, the waves in the ocean, anywhere. as soon as you get a tiny bit of inspiration take it and run because you never know where it may lead you.
The moments that trigger inspiration for me is when im on my roof with a cup of caramel hot chocolate looking up at the stars and listening to James Taylor or Norah Jones. Also, when i go on nature walks with my dog and just take in God's beautiful creation
Skipping my problems and taking a walk amidst the flurry of autumn leaves!
